Coinbase® Extension® - Getting Started

Your crypto, your control. Coinbase Wallet extension ensures easy management and secure storage.

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Coinbase Wallet is a standalone mobile wallet application for managing your cryptocurrencies. However, there may not be a dedicated "Coinbase Wallet extension" for browsers in the same way there is a Coinbase Wallet app for mobile devices. Instead, Coinbase provides a browser extension called "Coinbase Wallet for Chrome" that allows users to interact with decentralized applications (DApps) directly from their browser.

Here's how you can use the Coinbase Wallet for Chrome extension:

1. Visit Chrome Web Store:

   • Open the Chrome Web Store in your Google Chrome browser.

2. Search for "Coinbase Wallet for Chrome":

   • Use the search bar to look for the "Coinbase Wallet for Chrome" extension.

3. Add to Chrome:

   • Once you find the extension, click on the "Add to Chrome" button.

4. Confirm Installation:

   • Confirm the installation by clicking "Add Extension" on the pop-up dialog.

5. Access the Extension:

   • After installation, you should see the Coinbase Wallet icon in your Chrome toolbar.

6. Open Coinbase Wallet for Chrome:

   • Click on the Coinbase Wallet icon to open the extension.

Remember that the Coinbase Wallet for Chrome extension is designed for interacting with DApps and may not provide the full range of features available in the mobile Coinbase Wallet app.
